15 years ago, BeBe entered the world of bespoke tailoring, all thanks to Miss Be who gathered up a handful of her relatives familiar with the craft, and set up shop. Having been disenchanted by the level of quality and service provided by other tailors in town, the sole intention of Miss Be and her team was to create the perfect garment for every customer that walked in through their doors. And that they did. So well in fact, that the name ‘BeBe Tailors’ quickly spread from one mouth to the other, that a move to bigger premises seemed like the next logical step. 11 Hoang Dieu St. then became the site of BeBe 1 today.

But that was only the beginning. Over the years, with each recommendation, the number of customers grew, and as did BeBe alongside them. TripAdvisor and Facebook played a huge role in spreading word-of-mouth throughout the online community, attracting those looking up tailors in Hoi An. BeBe managed to stand out in the sea of results, and with the increasing demand, the flagship store, BeBe 1, could no longer cope. In 2012, a second site at the entrance to the Hoi An Ancient Town at 95 Phan Chau Trinh St. was opened, and then a third one in 2014 at 40 Tran Hung Dao St. The initial humble mom & pop store had now become a 3-store empire, that had served over 70,000 satisfied customers.

Of course, the team grew larger too. Little did Miss Be anticipate that throughout the years, the first four would evolve into what is now a 160-member team. To this day, a large percentage of this are family, and this family-oriented culture is what BeBe credits for their success. The same love, warmth and trust shared within the team is extended towards anyone that walks in through their doors, and that’s what makes Bebe stand out from the rest. Any business can treat you like a customer, but to Bebe, you are part of the family.

So, what’s next for BeBe? The path ahead seems bright. The site at BeBe 1 is currently undergoing expansion due to be completed by the end of 2017. The new extended store will only further enhance your tailoring experience. Plans are underway to create a beer garden on the premises, tours to visit the on-site production facility, and an information center to help customers plan their time in Hoi An.
