Terms and conditions
We help users to research and book travel experiences, post opinions of those experiences, and engage in interactive travel forums. However, we are not a travel or tour agency, and we do not provide such experiences ourselves. When you make a booking, you will be purchasing a tour, ticket or other service directly from the third-party supplier.
These Terms of Use apply to any use of Living Hoi An services. Please read these Terms of Use carefully, as they contain important information concerning your legal rights and limitations on these rights, as well as a section regarding applicable law and jurisdiction of disputes. By accessing or using Living Hoi An services, you are indicating that you have read these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with all of these Terms of Use, you are not permitted to access or use the services.
About Stay
CHECK-IN/OUT POLICY:
Check-in: from 14:00
Check out: no later than 12:00
Early check-in: subject to room availability.
LATE CHECK-OUT POLICY:
Late check-out is subject to room availability
12:00 to 17:00 check-out: 50% room rate surcharge
After 17:00 check-out: 100% room rate surcharge
Early arrivals and late departures: If your arrival is early in the day and you would like immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the hotel
CHILDREN POLICY:
Child under 6 years old: free of charge, limited for 01 child only
A surcharge of US$10 per night will be applied to the additional child occupying the existing bed
Children from 6 -11 years surcharge US$15/person/room/night. Sharing existing bed;
Children over 11 years or extra Adult: surcharge US$25/person/room/night. Sharing an existing bed.
DEPOSIT POLICY:
For online booking, a valid credit card (Visa or Master) will be required upon booking. Management reserves the right to cancel any reservations without notice if we are notified of any fraud or illegal activities associated with the full payments received;
For offline booking via email, a deposit of 01 night is required. For this, we use the online payment service called Onepay. If you do wish to proceed and secure the booking we will send you further information regarding Onepay
The balance of your accommodation charge (if any) will be payable at check out. The fee for credit card use is 3.3%, we accept Master cards and Visa cards only.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For room reservations, please note the following charges apply where cancellations occur within these timeframes:
Cancellation prior to 72 hours of arrival: there is no cancellation charge;
Cancellation within 72 hours and prior to 24 hours of arrival: the first night of all rooms reserved will be charged;
Cancellation within 24 hours of arrival or non-arrival: the full cost for all rooms booked will be charged.
* Note: To guarantee your reservation for offline booking, we require payment for the first night of your accommodation at the time of booking. The balance of your accommodation charge (if any) will be payable upon checkout.
If you cancel your booking prior to 72 hours of your arrival date, the first-night charge will be refunded to you. The refund process will take approximately 07 to 20 working days depending on the intermediary bank. To apply for your refund you must contact us by email.
About Tour
Conditions for Cancellation/Transfer/Change of Tour:
In the event that you are unable to participate in the tour, please send the tour registration form and payment receipt to Living Hoi An’s Gmail to proceed with the cancellation/transfer. You must notify the company in writing or via email (phone inquiries will not be accepted for cancellation/transfer) and bear the following cancellation fees:
(cancellation time is calculated based on working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)
– Cancellation immediately after registration: 30% of the total tour cost.
– Cancellation 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
– Cancellation 16-29 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost.
– Cancellation 1-15 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.
– Cancellation immediately after visa issuance: 100% of the total tour cost.
*** In the case of tour transfer/change: You will have to bear the cancellation fees as stated above. The company will assess each transfer/change case individually and provide different levels of assistance.
– Natural disasters: typhoons, floods, droughts, earthquakes, etc.
– Security incidents: protests, terrorism, strikes.
– Airline incidents: flight delays, cancellations, technical issues, security concerns, etc.

PAYMENT POLICY:
A fee of 3.3 % is applied for payment made by credit card type (Visa and Master);
All Promotional rates are inclusive of 10% tax and 5% service charges;
Payment by credit card shall be charged in VND.
