Itinerary
7:30 am:
Our guide will meet you at your hotel
8:00 am:
Go to explore a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers and buy ingredients for the cooking class
8:45 am:
A car will take you to BAY MAU COCONUT FOREST. You will enjoy a welcome drink, then go to Cam Thanh coconut palm village. Upon arrival, our guide will take a brief information about the village as well as the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, local families and community before you board on coracle boat.
It is time for you to jump on a basket boat for a funny 45 minutes ride around the forest for exploring the Thu Bon river cannels and enjoy coracle boat performances by local artists. Afterward, you will be entertained by fishing on the river using a net, listening to folk songs on the river, and shaking the boat.
10:00 am:
Return to HIFI TRAVEL. You will get to rest in place, and relax with interesting foot soaking here. Along with that, there will be nail services for the ladies.
10: 45 am:
You will be joined a cooking class course by a local host. They will show you how to cook some of the local specialties and then enjoy the meal such as:
• Hoi An fried spring rolls
• Vietnamese rice pancake
• Papaya salad with shrimp
• Special food of Hoi An – Cao Lau noodle
• Dessert fruit: watermelon or banana
• Welcome drink: lemongrass juice
1:30 pm:
End of service. Our car will take you back to the hotel.
Really a great experience! Hien and her husband are really friendly and knowledgeable. We went to the local market, went on a boat trip, made a lantern and had a cooking class. Hien’s husband is a chef and it shows. He helped us prepare are fantastic meat! They adapted the ingredients to our diet wishes.
